Quality carpentry.
Built to last.

Garbellotto Built handles all aspects of the trade — from frame to fix, new builds to repairs. Quality materials. Hand-measured on site. Finished by the maker.

01 — Frame, Lockup & Fix

Frame to lock-up.
Built square.

Subfloors, wall frames, roof trusses. Cladding, weatherboards, fascias, eaves, sash windows. From slab to lock-up — built square, fixed straight, sealed tight.

Australian hardwoods, structural pine, treated softwoods where they belong. Flashings sealed, fixings fit-for-purpose. Quality materials, hand-measured on site, built to plan, finished to spec.

Scope
Subfloors · Wall frames · Roof trusses · Cladding · Lock-up
Materials
Australian hardwoods · Structural pine · Treated softwoods

02 — Renovations & Extensions

Adding rooms.
Opening walls.

Adding rooms, opening up walls, reworking layouts. New work built into existing homes — matched to the home's structure, planned around the trades that follow, finished without seams between old and new.

Reno work means careful sequencing. Frames in early, lock-up before linings, cabinetry after coats. Quality materials throughout, hand-measured on site, clean coordination from first trade to last.

Scope
New rooms · Extensions · Wall openings · Layout reworks
Materials
Matched to existing home · Quality throughout
Workflow
Trades sequenced · Builds staged · Site clean

03 — Decks & Outdoor

Hardwood outside.
Built to weather.

Decks, pergolas, slatted screens, gates, planter boxes. Outdoor timber work designed for Melbourne's weather — hot summers, wet winters, the cycling that opens softwood and rusts cheap fixings. Hardwood throughout. Hidden stainless fixings. No exposed nails.

Australian hardwoods — spotted gum, blackbutt, ironbark, Tasmanian oak. Sub-frame in treated pine where it doesn't show; hardwood where it does. Finished with Osmo natural oil, or left to weather silver-grey. Either way, the joinery holds.

Scope

Australian hardwood · Treated pine sub-frame · Osmo natural oil
Fixings
Hidden stainless · Galvanised structural · Marine-grade options

04 — Repairs & Maintenance

What's broken.
Fixed right.

Settled subfloors, stuck sash windows, water-damaged architraves, doors that don't sit square, cabinets that won't close. Every kind of damage, every kind of house — the job is to see what's failed, understand why, and fix it so it stays fixed.

Replacement timbers matched to the original where it matters. Hand-finished where the eye lands. Insurance work and private jobs — same standard, hand-measured on site, finished by the maker.
